The most overlooked technology that goes into a pack is actually the most important, what materials it's made of. When it comes to choosing materials, we cut no corners. All of our products are constructed with the top of the line CORDURA® brand fabric. We are proud to be one of the few elite pack companies out there using this "tough as nails" material. However, unlike other companies that only use CORDURA® fabric on parts of their packs, we construct the ENTIRE body of our packs out of CORDURA® fabric. Our current line of premium backpacking packs use a mix of 100, 315 and 840 denier INVISTA nylon 6.6 high tenacity fiber in our CORDURA® fabric so there is a good chance that your pack will far outlast you.
It's not only the materials that make our packs the best, it's our devotion to development and testing. What makes us so unique is that our process of design and development are integrated, our pack designers are the same people building our prototypes. This offers a superior quality product since there is no disconnect between design and development. It is our guarantee that every pack we develop here at MHM has been subject to rigorous development and testing in the United States for well over a year before it is even available in stores.
